无游 ("we", "us") is the developer and publisher of the iOS app Papilune (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously.

Please read this policy before using the App. By using the App you agree to this policy.

In short: Papilune does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. It does not connect to the internet at all.

1. Information we collect

We collect no personal information at all.

• No account or registration is required.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or any government identifier.
• We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising ID), your IP address, or your list of installed apps.
• We do not collect your location.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not use cookies or any similar tracking technology.
• We do not use crash-reporting or usage-analytics services.

2. Information stored on your device

The App remembers how you like to listen, so that opening it at bedtime does not mean setting everything up again. The following is stored only on your device, never on a server:

• which sound you last played, and your background sound or custom mix
• the layer levels of a custom mix you built yourself
• your fade-out timer and fade length
• setups you saved to "My favorites"
• the time of an optional wind-down reminder, if you set one

Two on-device storage mechanisms are used: the WebView's local storage for the settings above, and the operating system's standard preference store for a short-lived flag that records an external "start playing" request (for example from Siri or the Home Screen widget). That flag is deleted as soon as it is used.

None of this is personal information, none of it leaves your device, and we cannot read any of it. Deleting the App deletes all of it.

3. Network access

The App makes no network requests. Everything it needs is inside the App itself; the music is bundled, not streamed or downloaded.

We verified this rather than assuming it. There are no web addresses in the App's code; the only network-capable interface it uses is the browser's local file loader, which reads the bundled music files from inside the App. There is no networking code in the iOS part of the App either. The App works fully in airplane mode.

This is why Papilune can promise "no subscription, no account, no internet": there is nothing for us to run on a server.

4. Permissions

The App requests no system permission by default.

The only optional one is notifications, and only if you choose to set a wind-down reminder. If you do, the reminder is scheduled by iOS on your own device. There is no push server, no device token, and nothing is sent to us — we cannot see whether you set a reminder, or whether it fired.

The App does not request access to location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, motion, or tracking.

5. Third-party services and SDKs

The App integrates no third-party SDKs. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no social or login SDK, and no device-fingerprinting code.

Papilune is built on Capacitor, an open-source native runtime. It runs entirely on your device and transmits nothing.

6. Data sharing, transfer and disclosure

We do not share, transfer, sell, rent, or publicly disclose personal information, because we do not collect any.

We have no server that stores user data, so there is nothing that could be handed over in response to a request — from a government, a law-enforcement agency, or anyone else.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain nothing on our side. Everything the App creates lives in your device's local storage and is removed when you delete the App.

You can also erase individual items without uninstalling: tap the star button in the App to review and delete saved setups, or set the wind-down reminder back to "Off".

8. Children's privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

Because no personal information is collected, no verifiable parental consent is required, and we hold no child's data.

9. Your privacy rights

Regulations such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing.

Because the App collects no personal data and we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us using the details in section 11 and we will respond.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.

If a future version of the App ever collects or transmits anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
