Privacy Policy — Jellyquake
Effective date: 2026-09-27
Last updated: 2026-09-27
无游 ("we", "us") is the developer and publisher of the iOS game Jellyquake (the "Game"). We take your privacy seriously.
Please read this policy before using the Game. By using the Game you agree to this policy.
In short: the Game does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It contains no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. The only thing that ever leaves your device is your game score, and only if you choose to sign in to Apple's Game Center.
1. Information we collect
We collect no personal information at all.
- No account or registration is required. We never ask you to create a login.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or any government identifier.
- We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, advertising ID), your IP address, or your list of installed apps.
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
- We do not use cookies or any similar tracking technology.
- We do not use crash-reporting or usage-analytics services.
2. Information stored on your device
So that you can continue where you left off, the Game stores the following only on your device, in the WebView's local storage:
- your best score and your total number of broken pieces
- which jelly shapes and flavors you have unlocked
- the shape and flavor you last selected
- a small flag recording the last score submitted to Game Center, so the same score is not submitted twice
None of this is personal information, none of it leaves your device except as described in section 3, and we cannot read any of it. Deleting the Game deletes all of it.
3. Game Center (optional)
The Game works fully without Game Center. If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, the Game will:
- submit your total number of broken pieces to a Game Center leaderboard, and
- report which achievements you have unlocked.
This is handled entirely by Apple, through the Game Center service built into iOS. The score is attached to your Game Center player, not to your name, email address, or anything we hold — we never receive it, and we have no server that stores it. Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
You can switch this off at any time by signing out of Game Center in Settings → Game Center, or simply by not signing in.
4. Network access
The Game itself makes no network requests. Everything it needs — the 3D jelly, the sounds, the interface — is inside the App. It works fully in airplane mode, and no part of the gameplay requires a connection.
The only network activity is the Game Center traffic described in section 3, which iOS performs on the Game's behalf and which you can avoid entirely by not signing in to Game Center.
There is no networking code in our part of the App, and there is no server of ours for the Game to talk to.
5. Permissions
The Game requests no system permission.
The shake mechanic uses the device's motion sensor (CoreMotion). iOS does not require permission for this, and the readings never leave your device — they are used only to work out how hard you are shaking. The Game does not request location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or tracking authorisation.
If you use the Share button, iOS opens the standard system share sheet and you decide where the image goes. Nothing is shared unless you complete that sheet yourself.
6. Third-party services and SDKs
The Game integrates no third-party SDKs. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no social or login SDK, and no device-fingerprinting code.
The Game is a Swift shell around a WebView that runs the same game code as our WeChat mini game. Both run entirely on your device.
7. Data sharing, transfer and disclosure
We do not share, transfer, sell, rent, or publicly disclose personal information, because we do not collect any.
We have no server that stores user data, so there is nothing that could be handed over in response to a request — from a government, a law-enforcement agency, or anyone else.
8. Data retention and deletion
We retain nothing on our side. Everything the Game creates lives in your device's local storage and is removed when you delete the Game.
If you have submitted a score to Game Center, that score is held by Apple and can be managed from Game Center itself.
9. Children's privacy
The Game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
Because no personal information is collected, no verifiable parental consent is required, and we hold no child's data. If Game Center is enabled on a child's device, that is governed by the device's own parental controls.
10. Your privacy rights
Regulations such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing.
Because the Game collects no personal data and we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us using the details in section 11 and we will respond.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will additionally be noted inside the Game. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.
If a future version of the Game ever collects or transmits anything beyond the Game Center score described above, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
12. Contact us
If you have any question, concern, or complaint about this policy or about privacy in the Game, please contact us:
- Email: hxs-20@163.com
- We will respond within 15 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
